I have had this video sitting on my computer for a couple weeks. It didn’t turn out as well as I hoped but I’ve decided to post it anyways. The look is inspired by the movie Singing in the Rain, and more specifically the scene featuring the song “You were meant for me”. It’s a 50′s does 20′s look, and is a nice subtle vintage inspired look. If you take the time and properly set the wave it will look like it does in the movie. As I explained in the video, my original plan didn’t work out and I didn’t leave my clips in long enough to set the waves. Oh well, that’s what I get for trying to film a video at 1am after a long day of writing exams.
