I’ve actually always had my hair this long since I was little. But, the time it took me to re-grow it out healthy and free of heat damage (after cutting it above my shoulders) was approximately 2 years.
It’s a nickname. I was called ‘Bunny’ by my family since I was itty bitty, but as I entered high school, I thought it sounded too childish. So, I upgraded myself to ‘Rabbit’, and I never looked back. :p
