   No, its totally safe! I just did it too much, which I didn’t explain very well. I still use my crochet hook to pull long strands from my scalp back into my dreads and fix loops and fuzzies. I just don’t tighten with it anymore. Thanks for your response : ]

   i use a crochet from time to time to get the HUGE strains that are lose back inside my dreads is it really that destructive? My head keeps dreading fine to the roots with rubbing.
